Zombie AI Video Generators Compared (October 2026)
There are three kinds of zombie AI video generator. Video models such as Seedance or Gemini Omni make clips from a prompt and photos; you write the story. Apps such as Dreamina, Higgsfield and CapCut give you those models, templates and an editor. One-step zombie trend sites, ours included, take two photos and return the finished film with the leap and the memory already written in.
Below is what each route takes, and a table of one-step sites with the length, quality and price each one published on 9 October 2026. We have tested only our own; for the others we report what their own pages say.

Video models: you write the story
- Seedance (ByteDance). Our generator renders on Seedance 2.0 Mini by default; Seedance 2.0 Fast, 2.0 and 2.5 are also in our settings.
- Gemini Omni in the Gemini app, which replaced Veo 3.1 there: 10-second clips on a paid Google AI plan. See our Gemini guide.
- Kling, PixVerse, Runway, Luma and others: image-to-video tools that ChatGPT also suggests for the trend. You bring the prompt and the edit.
Apps that host the models
Dreamina is ByteDance’s creative app, where Seedance models are offered; Higgsfield hosts several video models; CapCut has zombie templates and the editor most people finish in. These give you more control and more steps: you prompt, generate, retry and edit. The CapCut guide covers the editing side.

Several sites are cheaper than us for one film. What we can vouch for is our own: the prompt is printed in full in our prompt guide, our test renders and their faults are on this site, a failed render gives its credits back, and pack credits never expire.
Whichever zombie AI video generator you use, check these
- Length: is the whole story in one film, or do you join clips yourself?
- Who turns: can you choose which photo becomes the zombie?
- Failed renders: are the credits or money returned?
- Watermark and download: do you get a clean MP4?
- Photos: how long are they kept, and who can see them?
- The model: is it named, and can you see sample films that are not cherry-picked?
FAQ
What is the best AI video generator for the zombie trend?
It depends on how much you want to do yourself. A model like Seedance or Gemini Omni gives control but needs a prompt and editing; a one-step site gives the finished film from two photos. Prices for one film ranged from about $5.90 to $9.99 on 9 October 2026.
Is Seedance the same as Dreamina?
No. Seedance is ByteDance’s video model; Dreamina is ByteDance’s creative app where Seedance is one of the models. Our generator uses Seedance directly through a video provider.
Is there a free AI zombie video generator?
Some sites offer a free preview or free credits with limits. We do not: There is no free trial or free preview: the smallest pack is 12 credits for $9.99, which pays for one 15-second film at 720p, and a render that fails gives its credits back on its own.
